MARCH 2024

I could not rave enough about this place. I only spend one night here, but if you're looking for a peaceful stay away from the city with amazing company and food then this is the hostel for you! Esteban is a great cook and with IMMENSE knowledge of the nearby archeological sites. I found my stay very informative and relaxing.

Hi, just wanted to share how wondeful my stay at Pishku WASI was, with the delightful Esteban and Margaux. It was my last night in Ecuador after an amazing month, and couldn't have stayed at a more relaxing place. They have a fab bell tent, with electricity and a really comfy double bed, amazing outdoor shower, both with mountain views!! And the food was to die for!! So fresh and tasty!!.. And all just 25mins from Quito airport... Highly recommended!!

Pishku Wasi is a wonderful home (with AirBnB and Adventure) to relax your spirit and hike the surrounding Andes mountains, visit the Equator line, botanical garden and learn about ancient culture. Esteban is a knowledgeable guide and creative cook with local vegetables and Margaux creates beautiful jewelry and colorful atmosphere in the garden, thanks for your warm hearts! The rooms are spacious and with very comfortable bed, hot shower and space for some morning yoga. The garden is huge and full of citrus and avocado to enjoy Guacamole and fresh juice. It was amazing to enjoy the evenings at the fire and help them with some construction. Highly recommended!

Last week i stayed at Pishku WASI near Quito and i highly recommend it for anyone who is looking to stay close to Quito but in the nature! It's easy to get to from the airport or the city and also it's on the way to ottavalo. There is so much to do there including mitad del mundo, dry rainforests, solar clock, mojanda lake, pyramids and anything else you want to do. I did a lot of chilling and bird watching in the hammock in the garden too 😅 Margaux and Esteban are great hosts and really made me feel welcome and are really knowledgeable about the area and interested in preserving the beautiful nature and history in the area. And Esteban is a great cook ;) Really glad i stayed here and it's much nicer than staying in the city in my opinion!

AUGUST 2023

I had the most deep and beautiful experience with a bunch of beautiful souls on this trip.
The Siekopai family welcomed us so kindly and introduced us some of their traditionelle ways of living as in making food, potery, sacred ceremony and guiding us troigh the rain forest and explaining sharing their wisdom about the plants and on how to use them
Thank you so much dear friend Esteban Suarez for organising this journey.
You are a star!!!
Full Star
recommendation also for Estebans

SEPTEMBER 2023

We spent 9 wonderful days with Margaux and Esteban. Their place is great choice if you are looking to stay near Quito but in the nature. There are so many things that can be done in the surrounding area and Esteban will gladly tell you about those! Additionally, he is a cook, and a great one, so we ate very good and healthy food during our stay. We stayed in one of the rooms inside of the house but they also have a glamping tent. In the morning you can watch different kind of birds that come for food. Hummingbirds and a cute dog will keep you company throughout the day while you relax in the hamaca.
